Description
Limitless Shielding offers a wide range of non-conductive, environmental sealing gaskets. These can be used in applications where an environmental seal against dust and/or liquid ingress is required.
Environmental shielding gaskets can be moulded, extruded, laminated or die-cut into complex shapes, with or without self-adhesive backing. Custom jointed O-Rings are also available.
Typical materials used are silicone, Viton, neoprene and EPDM. Fire retardant variants to UL94-V0 and UL94-HF1 are available.
Gaskets can be cut from almost any form of rubber, fabric, foil or composite material to suit individual applications.

Availability
Environmental seals come in many forms, shapes and sizes.
Most commonly they are moulded or cut gaskets cut from Silicone or Neoprene. Flat gaskets can be cut by CNC die-less knife cutting systems, rule dies, kiss cut or more complex shapes by water jet cutting. Compression stops or collars can also be incorporated, this leads to reduced hardware costs and removes the need for fixings to be torqued to prevent over compression and damage to the gasket. Self-adhesive backing can be applied to the materials prior to cutting.
Sometimes when there is restricted space available, our form in place gasket application service comes into its own. A bead of plain silicone can be applied to intricate housings with restricted space where common assembly methods would be difficult.
Another method of sealing would be the use of an o-ring. We can mould or cut and joint many different materials including Solid Silicone, Solid Fluorosilisone and Silicone sponge. Other materials are avalable.
