Cavity Resonance RF Absorbers are thin magnetically loaded sheet stock having loss at microwave frequencies, while maintaining the characteristics of elastomeric binders.  Moreover, Cavity Resonance RF Absorbers are designed to exhibit high loss and are intended to be applied to metal surfaces inside microwave cavities to reduce the Q of the cavity. 

Additionally, Cavity Resonance RF Absorbers attenuate energy at normal and high angles of incidence at frequencies from 1 GHz to 20 GHz.

Ordering Information

Cavity Resonance RF Absorbers are generally purchased as die cut gaskets according to your requirements. Please supply a cad file or drawing accordingly. To order to drawing please use the drawing number as a suffix. For instance some cavity resonance to drawing 123456, the part number would be “MA-CRS-1-123456”.

Additinally, they are also available in 305 x 305mm (12″ x 12″) and 610 x 610mm (24″ x 24″)  sheets. Alternatively, we can cut the sheets to shape and size to fit your requirements. To indicate a required sheet size please add the suffix “-305” or “-610” accordingly.

Cavity Resonance RF Absorbers are also available with and without PSA. If you require PSA please add “-PSA” to the required part number. For example for 0.5mm thick 610mm sheet Silicone Cavity Resonance Absorber with PSA the part number would be “MA-CRS-1-610-PSA”.
